Purpose: The Town of Inuvik Municipal Council wishes to provide the means for an active and healthy community. The Recreation, Parks & Library Advisory Committee will serve to provide Council and staff with advice, suggestions and recommendations from the community in areas concerning parks, recreation and library opportunities. An effective committee can assist with ensuring that a range of programs and facilities are offered and maintained for the benefit of everyone in the community. The Committee gives Community Services staff the opportunity to obtain advice and to seek answers or suggestions to program and facility issues.
